Attilio Zimatore

Born in Catanzaro in 1955.
Graduated in Law at the La Sapienza University of Rome. From 1977, he was appointed assistant and then researcher in private law at the same university. Since 1990, full professor. He has taught at the Universities of Campobasso and Viterbo. Since 2000 he has held the chair of Private Law at the Faculty of Law of LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. At LUISS, from 2007 to 2011, he was Director of the Department of Legal Sciences.

He was a member of the CONI High Court of Sports Justice and is currently President of the Second Section of the Sports Guarantee College.

In addition to practicing the profession of lawyer, upon appointment by the Ministry of Economic Development he is extraordinary commissioner of various large companies in extraordinary administration.
In 2015 he was designated by the Minister of Justice as a member of the Study Commission for the reform of insolvency proceedings.
He was Chairman of Prelios Credit Servicing S.p.A. and is Chairman of Nuova Compagnia di Partecipazioni S.p.A. He is a member of the Board of Directors of LUISS Guido Carli.

Since 1st January 2019 he has been a Board Member of Angelini Holding S.p.A.
